Farewell to the SEB

It made me weep to see this landmark of Chalvey being pulled down.
Being a member of the social club there, to having my stag night there.
All the people I have met in the clubhouse within the building and all the social nights spent there.

My familys kids were weaned on the place, from birth to teens.
People wonder why I feel sad to see a building like the SEB being demolished. It
is personal and reminds me of all the ghosts of people who have passed away over the years that once

attended the many social gatherings in the old place.

RIP SEB. (I forgot to mention the kebab man, who used to park in the car park:-))
